Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it truly is alarmed with regard to the high quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office focused on service sassa the area every day. The services point established for intervention activities a large influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to empower the servicing of all consumers and raise entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
